Sanger, California is located 15 miles southeast of Fresno, the largest city in in Central California.
What's Up

Sanger has its roots in the late 19th century as a destination point for the flume that was the main conduit for the Timber industry of the adjacent Sierra Nevada mountains to its east. Later, Sanger became a food packing and processing center for the vital Agricultural base that historically has been so important to the economy of California’s great San Joaquin Valley.

Today Sanger is poised to assume a new and diversified role in the economy of Central California that includes companies engaged in the fabrication of parts and machinery, corrugated paper products, electronic cable, and extruded plastic products that have located in its expanding industrial park.

As home to”The Nations Christmas Tree”, it has quality, relatively low cost housing and an outstanding school district with competitive sports teams that contributed famed NFL player, coach and TV commentator Tom Flores (upper right) to the world of sport, and a central location appoxiatmely half way between San Francisco and Los Angeles and easy driving distance to both the central coast of California and the Sierras to the east..
